Expanding Into Wholeness
A Gentle, Integrated Approach to Healing
Experience a grounded and integrative approach to mental health at Ascension Therapy. We blend EMDR, IFS, somatic therapy, mindfulness, breathwork, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to offer personalized support that eases distress and strengthens overall well-being.
A Path Back to Yourself
At Ascension Therapy, we believe healing is about connecting to the places where you have felt stuck, stagnant or overwhelmed. Supporting you on a path to a steadier sense of yourself. Ascension here is not about climbing upward toward an ideal. It’s an unfolding from a rooted place, expanding into the wholeness that exists beneath the stress, grief, trauma, or whatever has felt overwhelming.
We take time to understand what you have experienced and how it shows up in your body, mind, and emotions. Sessions move at a pace that respect your nervous system, staying gentle, attuned, and grounded in what feels manageable for you in the moment.
Like a tree, healing grows upward when the roots are tended. Our work centers on the parts of you that need steadiness and grounding, allowing your system to settle so your inner landscape can become clearer and more manageable. As the deeper patterns in your nervous system find safety, you gain the capacity to meet your experiences with greater clarity. In this way, you reconnect with yourself in a sustainable way.

Our Approach
We offer a range of evidence-based therapies to help regulate the nervous system, reduce distress, and support emotional well-being. Each modality is tailored to your needs and used at a pace that feels appropriate for your system.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process memories and patterns that contribute to distress. By using rhythmic eye movements and specific grounding techniques, EMDR supports your nervous system in integrating difficult experiences. Many people find that it reduces emotional overwhelm and strengthens their ability to navigate daily life with more ease.

IFS Therapy
Internal Family Systems (parts work)
IFS therapy examines the different parts of the self that influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying these parts and understanding their roles, IFS helps reduce internal conflict and supports more effective emotional regulation. This approach strengthens internal cooperation, increases clarity, and promotes a more grounded and integrated sense of self.
Somatic Therapy
Body-Mind Connection
Somatic therapy helps you understand how your body holds stress, emotion, and past experiences. Through awareness, grounding, and gentle techniques that support the nervous system, you learn to recognize patterns in your body and create more steadiness from within. This approach can help reduce overwhelm, increase regulation, and support a deeper connection to yourself.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Mind-Body Healing
Ketamine-assisted therapy involves using ketamine in a therapeutic setting to help the brain access new pathways for emotional processing. It can ease symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma while supporting deeper insight and regulation. Each session includes preparation, monitoring, and integration to help you make meaning of the experience in a grounded way.
